The following were the research questions
of the study:-
1.
What are the
realms of tribals and their education?
2.
Does the tribal
societal specificity need a particular education system different from the
multi-castes and ethnic regional society surrounding the tribals?
The Bhil tribal population of Rajasthan constitute the population of the study.
Purposive random sampling technique was adopted by taking Bhil’s population for the study.
24 schools were selected out of which 16 are run by Government, 6 are
Ashram schools and 2 missionary ones.
Observation schedule was developed by the investigator.
Historical research method was used for this study. The nature of
enquiry is empirical.
The empirical and statistical analysis along with historical explanation
was used for data analysis.
It was found that:
The new model of education, syllabus with various activities,
methodologies of education, technology, mass media etc. will hasten up the
integration of tribal students with their non-tribal counter-parts by these wide
structural transformation.
