(3) To compare Achievement of the students of Ashramshalas in respect of their area, standard (VIII & IX), Sex, each factor of Personality, Self-concept and School Climate, separately, by taking Intelligent and Creativity as covariates.
Eighteen out of 70 Uttar Buniyadi Ashramshalas were selected randomly. From these schools, an incidental sample of 899 students of Standards VIII and IX was taken.
Using Personality Inventory developed by K.G.Desai, Creative Ability Test by J.Z. The major findings were: (1) The joint contribution of Personality traits, Creativity, Intelligence, self - concept and School Climate in the prediction of Achievement was 16.02 %. Of this, Intelligence contributed to the extent of 11.6%. The other factors did not contribute substantially. (2) Creativity and all its factors, Intelligence, Self-concept and School Climate were related to Achievement of the students. (3) PE (Extraversion) was related to PN (Neuroticism), PL (Lie score), CN (Number factor), CC (Category factor), Creativity and Intelligence. (4) PN was related to PE, CN, CC and Intelligence. (5) PL was related to PE and Self- concept. (6) CN was related to PE, PN, CC, CU (Uniqueness factor), Creativity, Intelligence and Self-concept. (7) CC was related to PE, PN, CN, CU, Creativity and Intelligence. (8) CU was related to CN, CC, Creativity, Intelligence and Self-concept. (9) Creativity was related to PE, CN, CC, CU, Intelligence and Self-concept. (10) Intelligence was related to PE, PN, CN, CC, CU and Self-concept. (11) School Climate was related to PL, CN, CC, CU, Creativity, Intelligence and Self-concept. (12) Area, standard and Self-concept had significant influence on Achievement of the students of Ashramshalas when Intelligence and Creativity were taken as covariates.
