The Objectives of the study were: (1) To construct and standardized an Attitude Scale to measure environmental Education Attitude of B.Ed. Students. (2) To compare the Environmental Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education in relation to following groups- (a) Male & Female students; (b) Science & Non Science students; (c) Rural & Urban Students; (d) students of SC, OBC and General Caste; (e) Students of Higher Socio-economic status, lower SES and middle S.E.S; and (f) Higher, Average and lower Achievers. (3) To Study the relationship between Environmental Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education among B.Ed. Students.

Stratified Random Sampling Technique was used for selecting 600 students studying in the colleges affiliated to Dr. B.R.A. University, Agra.

The tools used were:  Environmental Education Attitude Scale (EEAS) developed by the investigator, Environmental Awareness Ability measure (EAAM) by P.K. Jha, and Socio-economic Status scale by R.L. Bhardwaj.

The data were analyzed with the help of t-test and ANOVA.

The findings were:(1) Male B.Ed. students were significantly better in their Environmental Awareness than that of their female counterpart. But no significant difference was seen on the part of their Attitude towards Environmental Education in both groups. (2) Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education were significantly better in Science students of B.Ed. class in comparison to Non-Science students. (3) Urban students were found significantly better in the Environmental Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education when compared with their rural counterpart. (4) General caste students were significantly better in their Environmental Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education than that of OBC and SC students. (5) OBC B.Ed. students were also found significantly superior to SC candidate when compared on their Environmental Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education. (6) Socio-economic status also played a significant role to determine Environmental Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education among B.Ed. students because students having high of SES were significantly better than students of middle SES and lower SES and students of middle SES were also significantly better than lower SES students, when compared on both the traits under investigation. (7) Academic Achievement was also found to have significant effect on determination of Environmental Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education among B.Ed. students as the result revealed that higher achievers were significantly better than Average achievers and lower achievers in both the trades but over Average achievers were found significantly better in their Attitude towards Environmental Education and Environmental Awareness. (8) There was a significant and positive relationship between Environmental Awareness and Attitude towards Environmental Education Attitude.
