The
data were analysed with the help of t-test.
The findings were: (1) The students of IX and VII standard accelerated to higher intellectual stage on exposure to open system approach based on treatment sessions. (2) Students of VII standard showed less acceleration in accordance to Piagetian Theory. (3) Sex did not affect the performance of students. (4) Students used previous knowledge in solving new problems based on same scheme of thought.
