The objectives of the study were: (1) To prepare the lesson in a systematic way for enhancing the understanding of the reasons behind the occurrence of day and night among the children studying in grade three. (2) To find out the impact of expository teaching on the concept of day and night of children studying in grade three. (3) To find out the impact of expository teaching on the concept of day and night in respect to gender.
