Objectives of the study:
To identify the needs of teachers for improving teacher effectiveness.
To design and conduct a suitable programme for developing teachers personality
To verify effectiveness of training programme on the school climate and on students performance
Sample of the study:
For survey 30 schools, 426 teachers and 1154 students were selected.
For training 56 schools of experimental group and 28 schools of control group are selected.

Design of the study:
The study was carried out in two parts- survey and Intervention or training
Statistical Techniques:
Range, Mean, Median, Standard Deviation, t-test and Chi-square
Findings:
The results revealed that the training programme designed for teacher’s effectiveness showed improvement in their Mental Abilities, School Climate, Student’s Scholastic Achievement, Annual Examination Marks and Drop-out rates.
